Dance is more than steps and counts. It’s confidence, creativity, expression and performance all rolled into one. At Industry Warehouse, we focus on three core styles that give young dancers a strong foundation while keeping training exciting and relevant: Musical Theatre, Street Jazz and Lyrical Jazz.
Each style offers something different. Together, they build versatile, confident performers who can move with both power and purpose.
Let’s take a closer look at what your child will experience in our classes.

Musical Theatre is where dance meets storytelling. It’s about bringing character, emotion and energy to the stage. In class, students learn choreography inspired by West End and Broadway productions, focusing on stage presence, projection and performance quality.
You see this style everywhere right now. From Hamilton and Six to Matilda and film adaptations of classic musicals, Musical Theatre is one of the most exciting and expressive forms of performance.
In our Thursday sessions, dancers work on:
Character-driven choreography
Timing and musical interpretation
Stage confidence and presence
Performance skills that go beyond just steps
It’s perfect for young performers who love being on stage and want to build confidence in a fun but focused environment.

Street Jazz blends the sharp energy of commercial dance with the technique of jazz. It’s bold, rhythmic and full of attitude.
This is the style you see in music videos, live tours and commercial stage shows. Think Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, global pop tours and televised dance competitions. It’s clean, powerful and performance-ready.
In our Friday sessions, dancers develop:
Precision and control
Strength and coordination
Musicality and timing
Performance confidence
Street Jazz trains dancers to move with clarity and impact. It builds stage presence and helps students feel strong and expressive in their movement.

Lyrical Jazz brings fluidity and emotion into training. It combines technical control with expressive movement, allowing dancers to connect more deeply with music.
You’ll see lyrical influences in contemporary theatre productions, emotional music performances and dance competitions where storytelling is key.
In class, dancers focus on:
Flow and control
Balance and extensions
Smooth transitions between movements
Expressing emotion through choreography
Lyrical Jazz develops artistry. It teaches dancers how to perform with feeling, not just technique.
Why These Three Styles Work Together
At Industry Warehouse, we’ve carefully shaped our timetable around these three core styles because together they create well-rounded performers.
Musical Theatre builds character and stage presence.Street Jazz develops power and precision.Lyrical Jazz adds expression and fluidity.
Every class is led by pro dancers currently working in the industry, bringing real-world performance experience into the studio. Students aren’t just learning choreography, they’re learning how to move like performers.
Whether your child wants to shine on stage, build confidence, or simply train in a supportive and ambitious environment, there’s a place for them here.
We can’t wait to see them in the studio.
