Dance isn’t just a way to move your body—it’s a way to express yourself, tell a story, and connect with music and rhythm in ways words can’t always capture. At Industry Warehouse, we’re all about giving young dancers the chance to explore different styles and find the one that makes them feel alive. Whether it’s cutting-edge street moves, storytelling on stage, or free-flowing contemporary vibes, our classes are led by pro dancers who are performing at the top of their game, bringing energy, expertise, and inspiration straight to the studio.
Let’s dive into the world of dance and discover the styles your child can explore in our classes.

Street dance started on the streets, clubs, and local dance battles, and it’s all about rhythm, attitude, and creativity. Think popping, locking, breaking, and hip hop vibes—you’ll see these moves everywhere, from the dance crews in Step Up movies to global pop stars like Beyoncé and Bruno Mars. Our DYNAMIX and URBAN classes let kids explore the energy and improvisation that make street dance so addictive. Students get to feel the beat, work on coordination, and express themselves through movement that’s cool, confident, and full of personality.

Musical theatre dance is all about storytelling. It combines technique with performance, creating routines that are as expressive as they are fun. Whether it’s jazz hands, high kicks, or big ensemble numbers, this style is what makes shows like Hamilton, Chicago, or Matilda unforgettable. In our classes, kids learn to bring a story to life through movement, building confidence, poise, and stage presence along the way. URBAN and other mixed-style sessions combine musical theatre with street dance or jazz for a playful, dynamic twist.

Contemporary dance blends modern, jazz, and ballet techniques, creating a style that’s all about flow, emotion, and storytelling. Dancers explore the relationship between the music and the movement, expressing feelings through lifts, leaps, and fluid sequences. You might have seen contemporary numbers in shows like So You Think You Can Dance or in pop music videos by artists like Sia or FKA Twigs. Our FLOW and PULSE classes give young dancers a safe space to explore these dynamic movements while building strength, balance, and creativity.

Lyrical dance takes contemporary and jazz and infuses it with emotion. It’s about interpreting the music and telling a story, often combining balletic lines with the freedom of contemporary. You’ll spot lyrical influences in shows like Dancing with the Stars or in the emotional music videos of Ariana Grande and Maddie Ziegler. Lyrical is perfect for kids who love expressing emotion through movement, improving flexibility, and learning to connect with music in a deeper way.

Jazz technique is the foundation for so many styles—energetic, sharp, and rhythmic. From Broadway classics to pop performances, jazz is everywhere. Think Bob Fosse’s iconic choreography, West Side Story, or Beyoncé’s tightly synchronised dance routines. Our jazz technique sessions focus on building strength, precision, and performance skills while keeping it fun. Kids learn everything from turns and leaps to stylistic expressions that make them feel like stars in the making.
At Industry Warehouse, we believe that exposing young dancers to a variety of styles helps them discover their strengths, grow as performers, and fall in love with dance. Every class is led by pro dancers currently working on stage and screen, so your child isn’t just learning moves—they’re learning from the best in the business.
Whether your child is drawn to the rhythm of street dance, the storytelling of musical theatre, or the expressive freedom of contemporary and lyrical, there’s a class at Industry Warehouse that’s perfect for them. We can’t wait to see them in the studio, exploring, learning, and having fun with every step.
