studio policies
Ensuring transparency and safety, we have detailed our policies below, covering website usage, booking procedures, and studio guidelines. Kindly review them thoroughly to ensure comprehension. By confirming a booking on our website, you affirm that you have read, understood and will adhere to these policies, both for yourself and the attending students.
At Industry Warehouse, the safety and well-being of our students are our top priorities. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to our child drop-off and pick-up policy to ensure a secure and positive experience for all.
1. Drop-Off Guidelines:
- Parents or guardians are responsible for escorting their child into the studio building and ensuring their safe entry to the class.
- Please arrive a few minutes before the scheduled class time to allow for a smooth transition.
- For younger students, we encourage parents to assist them in preparing for the class and ensuring they are ready to participate.
2. StudioEntry:
- Teachers and staff members will only assume responsibility for students once they are inside the studio and the class has officially begun.
- Please ensure your child is on time for their class to avoid disruptions to the learning environment.
- Please do not enter the studio until a few minutes before your class.
3. Pick-Up Procedure:
- Parents or guardians must be present at the studio building to pick up their child immediately after the class ends.
- Teachers and staff members are not responsible for supervising students after the class concludes.
4. Waiting Areas:
- As we currently hire studio spaces within other venues, we have a reception & waiting area available. But please be Quiet in these areas as we have had complaints of noise before & after class.
5. Late Pick-Up:
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances that may cause you to be late for pick-up, please notify us as soon as possible.
- Late pick-ups may disrupt our schedules and inconvenience our teachers and staff members.
6. Student Release:
- Teachers or staff members will release students to parents or guardians only.
- If someone other than a parent or guardian is designated to pick up the child, please inform us in advance and provide their full name for verification.
7. Communication:
- If you have specific instructions, concerns, or special arrangements, please communicate them with our administration in advance.
- We are here to ensure a safe and positive experience for your child, so don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
By adhering to these drop-off and pick-up guidelines, you contribute to the safety and smooth functioning of our dance school. We appreciate your partnership in creating a secure and enjoyable environment for all students.
Monthly Subscriptions
All students joining Industry Warehouse are enrolled on our monthly subscription plan. Payments are taken automatically via direct debit on the same date each month.
Your subscription covers 39 classes across the year, aligned with school term dates and including all holidays. The total cost is calculated by multiplying the cost per class by 39, then divided into 12 equal monthly payments. This makes it easy to budget while ensuring your child has access to every class throughout the year.
A successful payment secures your child’s spot in class. If a payment fails, we will automatically retry within 7 days, and you will be notified via email.
Most of our sessions consist of 2 classes that cover different dance styles. The session isplit into 2 and students will learn both styles. These classes can only be booked together as one session and are not available individually.
Cancelling your subscription:
To cancel, you must notify us before the end of the current billing period or cancel via your online account. Once a payment has been processed, refunds are not available, except under exceptional circumstances, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Trial Sessions
All trial sessions have a small fee to allow your child to try a class before committing to a full term. Trial payments are non-refundable.
If your child is unable to attend their trial session, please contact us as soon as possible. We are happy to reschedule your trial for another available session.
One-Off Workshops & Masterclasses
One-off workshops or masterclasses must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your child’s spot.
You can cancel up to 48 hours before the start of the session and receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop will not be refunded, but we may offer a credit for a future workshop at our discretion.
Attendance and Absences
We encourage consistent attendance so students can get the most from their classes. As places are limited, we are unable to provide refunds for missed classes once the term has started.
Class Cancellations
In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrolment, a full refund will be issued.
